Learning tools for teachers and parents

The Thomas Armour Youth Ballet is in the process of developing resources to assist parents and teachers in achieving educational goals as they broaden their children’s world with the arts.

Each of these may be downloaded and reproduced for educational purposes.

Our Teacher’s Guide which includes the story line of the ballet, biographies of the choreographer and composer, theater etiquette, basic dance movements and positions, and additional teaching resources is available for electronic viewing here.

Additionally “Going to the show”, a pre-show guide created by Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and its All Kids Included Program (AKI) to prepare and introduce new audiences to a live performance, is available for viewing here.
